Eating... TO and FOR

This blog was created for the "Storia delle cose. Anatomia e antropologia degli oggetti" assignment. It is dedicated to the study of:

The mango's scientific name is Mangifera, and it belongs to the flowering plant family of Anacardiaceae. 

The fruit varies in size and character. Its form is oval, round, heart-shaped, kidney-shaped, or long and slender. Some are vividly coloured with shades of red and yellow, while others are dull green. Its flesh is yellow to orange colour, juicy and of a distinctive spicy flavour.



KETTLE


A type of pot used for boiling water, which has a lid, a spout and a handle. They're usually made of steel, but can also be made of other materials such as glass, plastic or ceramic.

Kettles can be heated either by placing them on a stove, or by their own internal electric heating element in the appliance versions.
